Bachelors Degree Applicant
- Bahraini nationality
- Holds a high school average grade of at least 80%
- Applicants seeking enrollment in Talal Abu-Ghazaleh University College of Business should hold a high school average grade of 90% or above
- Applicant must have applied to one or more of the Partner Universities
- Applicant must have acceptance from one of the Partners Universities
- The applicant must be committed to community service and volunteer work
- Applicant must not already hold a Bachelor’s degree
- Applicant must have applied in one of the partner universities
- Does not hold a grant or scholarship from other government or private entities
Note: MKF scholarship will not be granted without acceptance letter from one of the Partner Universities.

Masters Degree Applicant
- Bahraini nationality
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited University by the Ministry of Education.
- Cumulative GPA of 3 and above at graduation
- A minimum of three years of work experience
- Does not hold a grant or scholarship from other government or private entities
- Acceptance letter from one of the Partner Universities
- Applicant must have applied in one of the partner universities
Masters Degree Required Documents:
- Applicant’s Passport
- Applicant’s CPR
- Applicant’s CV
- Passport size photo
- Certificate of Bachelor’s degree
- Accreditation certificate from higher education council for private universities or Ministry of Education for other universities
- Proves of previous work experiences
- Recommendation letter signed by the applicants direct line manger
- Certificates of workshops and/or courses attended
- University acceptance letter
- Handling university fees
- Providing book allowances
- Providing monthly financial incentives for outstanding students
- Providing educational and training courses
- Providing internship opportunities at private organizations & ministries
- Community Service/Volunteer work
- Fun and educational monthly meetings
Rules and Regulations on Scholarships Provided by MKF
- Students must be committed to the laws and regulations of MKF
- Commit to the study plan which does not exceed 5 years
- Students must attend the monthly meetings organized by MKF. Students should provide a written excuse to The Foundation prior to the event in case they won’t be able to attend. The Foundation then has the right to accept the excuse or decline it
- Commit to participating in the volunteer programs provided and complete of the number of volunteer hours required (30 hours)
- Follow the rules and regulations of the university
- Students’ GPA must not be less than 2.00. In the event that a student’s GPA drops below 2.00, the student will receive a written warning from MKF where they will be on probation for until their GPA is raised. If the student fails to raise their GPA in two semesters, the student will be terminated
- Provide a copy of the semester results immediately upon completion of each semester
- Talal Abu-Ghazaleh University College of Business students must not have a GPA less than 3.00 for the period of the contract
- In case a student wants to withdraw from a subject, they should get a prior approval from The Foundation
- The scholarship contract between MKF and the student is terminated in the event the student transfers to another university
- Students are allowed to change their major once during the period of the contract after getting an approval from The Foundation
- Students who withdraw from the scholarship should provide a letter explaining the reasons of the withdrawal and will be responsible to return all amounts paid by MKF
- Notify MKF in writing if there were any changes in the information provided in the application form
MKF has the Right to Terminate the Student for the Following Reasons
- If a student does not agree with the values of MKF
- If a student violates the conditions of admission and the laws and regulations
- If a student participates in acts of sabotage and/or illegal activity
- If a student participates in unethical activities
- If MKF learns that the student has a scholarship or grant from other entities
Note * MKF does not provide scholarships for Bahrain Teachers College (UOB).
